Baby Mayowa
-Nigeria

Lita, thank you so much for

 your kind heart toward my

 son Mayowa and all other

 children you have reached

 out

to. Little Mayowa Arogundade was born Noveber 17 2010 in  Nigeria at 7 mths gestational age and subsequently put in the incubator .however 3mths later we noticed whitish substance in his eyes and the Doctors diagnosed bilateral retina detachment and referred us to the united states for further treatment as they couldnt handle it in the country. The church in Nigeria raised $5000 dollars with which we proceeded to the states. When we got to New York, he was scheduled for urgent surgical intervention. After review by Dr. Robert Lopez in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital the surgery could not be done ‘due to the high medical bill, $45000 dollars.

Watching my son gradually lose his vision was traumatic for me, 3 weeks later when help was coming from no where I decided to do a lot of reading about his eye condition there I came across ROPARD who I called and they told me about Dr. Trese in Michigan and said I could try him for a second opinion. I got to know about LITA AND ALL THE WONDERFUL WORK SHE HAS BEEN DOING THROUGH THE HOSPITAL AND  I sent an email to her..I also sent emails to many charitable organization, however, only Lita replied my email and gave me a call,

she immediately swung into action talking to several hospitals including Columbia who still declined help. I remember her telling me she wouldnt give up ,that she is going to be the” proverbial woman” in the Bible.

Yes she did’nt give up until help came through Willam Beaumont Hospital after several weeks of praying, crying with me.she gave me hope and courage to hang in there. Lita on behalf of little Mayowa and family we say a big thank you ..for being a  light at the end of our tunnel and above all for being a  compassionate mother to us.

God bless you and God bless CCM.

Kemi Arogundade, May 31, 2011

I did not do this on my own; this is a perfect example of how Cildren’s Circle Mission works. Thanks to the profound generosity of William Beaumont Hospital, Mary Nichols- coordinator, Dr. Capone and Dr. Dresner and the many many staff members who made baby Mayowah’s surgery possible. This is how Children’s Circle Mission connects the dots for Jesus. In time of need God provided many wonderful families to open up their homes to serve as host for Kemi and baby Mayowah.

It is my sincere appreciation to my son, Ravindra Kharmai for contacting his friends Michelle Held, Craig and his spouse Angena to serve as host to Kemi and her baby. Michelle then contacted Bev Clode.

Our Lord Jesus Christ orchestrated this in three weeks, this is an amazing story but with God all things are possible.
