The Children
We believe that children are a gift from God and deserve the best - especially those with medical problems. The children we help come from countries that are poor, countries that have very low health standards, if any, countries that don't have the latest technology, equipment, medicine and training to treat disorders.
Our first child came from Guyana, South America, but we will go wherever God leads - our last two children came from Liberia, Africa.
Preeya was the first child we helped. She had club feet and could not walk properly.
Schemona has infections in her eyes. She is totally blind in one eye and the other is badly inflamed. Schemona could hardly see at an arms length for 8 years. Because of this, she did not go to school for 4 years. With the Help of Dr. Verdier and Dr. Aaberg from Verdier Eye Center, the surgery was provided at no cost.
